If there is not enough cold air to complete the heat exchange with the radiator, the heat dissipation effect will also be poor. In normal use, the nominal maximum air volume is not the air supply volume obtained by the actual cooling fan, and large air volume does not mean strong ventilation capacity. If air is flowing, the airflow will be obstructed by the fins in the path, and its impedance will limit the free flow of air. It can also be said that the air volume of the cooling fan increases, so the air pressure decreases. Therefore, there must be an optimal operating point at which the slope of the fan characteristic curve is the smallest and the rate of change of the system characteristic curve is the lowest, that is, the intersection point of the fan performance curve and the wind resistance curve. Therefore, the performance of a cooling fan can usually be described by the performance curve of the fan. This curve reflects the wind pressure and air volume that the fan can provide at different rotational speeds.
