So what are the basic knowledge of cooling fans? 1、 The operating principle of the cooling fan: According to the right-hand rule of Ampere, a conductor passing through an electric current will generate a magnetic field around it. If this conductor is placed in another fixed magnetic field, it will generate attraction or repulsion, causing the object to move. A rubber magnet pre filled with magnetism is attached inside the fan blades of the cooling fan. Surrounding the silicon steel sheet, two sets of coils are wound around the axis, and Hall sensing components are used as synchronous detection devices to control a set of circuits that rotate the two sets of coils wound around the axis. Silicon steel sheets generate different magnetic poles, which generate attraction and repulsion forces with rubber magnets. When the suction and repulsion force is greater than the static friction force of the lice fan, the fan blades rotate naturally. 2、 The speed of the cooling fan: The speed of the cooling fan refers to the number of times the fan blades rotate per minute, measured in rpm. The fan speed is determined by the number of turns of the coil inside the motor, working voltage, number of fan blades, inclination angle, height, diameter, and bearing system. There is no necessary connection between speed and fan quality. The speed of the cooling fan can be measured through internal speed signals or external measurements (external measurements refer to using other instruments to see how fast the fan is rotating, while internal measurements can be directly viewed in BIOS or through software.
