SanAce DC fan

DC fans and EC fans are both DC cooling fans, but there are some differences between them.

Simple summary: DC input is DC, which can input AC power and convert it into DC power.

Characteristics of DC fans: DC fans are a new type of fan industry. It is different from other DC cooling fans.

It can be powered not only by DC voltage, but also by AC voltage.

The voltage range from DC 12V, 24V, 48V to AC 110V, 220V, 380V can be widely used without the need for any inverter conversion.

All internal components of the motor are DC power supply, built-in DC to AC, rotor position feedback, three-phase AC, permanent magnet, synchronous motor.

 

EC fan

EC motor is a DC brushless maintenance free motor with built-in intelligent control module. It has RS485 output interface, 0-10V sensor output interface, 4-20mA speed control switch output interface, alarm device output interface, and master-slave signal output interface.

This product has the characteristics of high intelligence, high energy saving, high efficiency, long lifespan, low vibration, low noise, and continuous operation.

Applicable scenarios: Commonly used in building ventilation, HVAC systems, data centers, clean rooms, and other applications that require intelligence, efficiency, and low energy consumption, especially suitable for situations with high requirements for wind speed regulation and energy optimization.

 

AC fan

Drive and principle: Powered by AC power, usually directly connected to the mains or generator system. The motor consists of a stator and a rotor. The stator generates a periodically changing magnetic field at different poles through alternating current, which drives the rotor to rotate.

DC fan

Drive and principle: Using DC power supply, usually powered by batteries, adapters, or power modules. The motor consists of a permanent magnet rotor and a stationary winding. The direction of current is controlled by an electronic commutator, and the driving force generated by the magnetic field drives the rotor to rotate. The speed can be adjusted using PWM signals.
