Yamamoto Electric has expanded its high-performance, compact, lightweight, and energy-efficient servo system "SANMOTION G" series with the development of a DC 48V-driven model.

It is suitable for semiconductor manufacturing equipment, unmanned transport vehicles, autonomous transport robots, battery-driven devices of automatic transport equipment, food machinery, medical equipment, etc.

It combines the characteristics of "powerfulness" and "flexibility".

I. "Powerfulness" Characteristics

1、Improved servo performance
It has high responsiveness, suppresses vibration, and can control quickly and accurately, which helps to improve the productivity and processing quality of the equipment.
Compared with the company's previous products※1, the following servo performances have been improved:

Speed response frequency※2: 2.2 times higher

Positioning settling time: 1/8 of the original

Encoder resolution: maximum 27 bits (battery-free)

2、Enhanced reliability and maintainability
In order to prevent failures of electronic components, it is equipped with functions that allow safe and secure use.
In addition, since it is a battery-free encoder, there is no need to replace the battery.
This improves the reliability and maintainability of mechanical devices.

3、Suitable for various applications
The rated output power of the company's previous products※1 can reach 200 W, and on this basis, a 400 W servo motor is newly launched.
It is most suitable for products such as semiconductor manufacturing equipment and battery-driven devices.

4、Suitable for various environments
In terms of vibration performance, the servo motor is 2 times better than the company's previous products※1, and the servo driver is 20% better.
The operating temperature range of the servo driver has been expanded by 1.5 times, ranging from 0 to +60℃.
It can be used even at high altitudes of 2,000 meters.
It has improved environmental resistance and can be used in various regions and environments.

II. "Flexibility" Characteristics

1、Contributing to SDGs through small size, light weight, and energy efficiency
Compared with the company's previous products※1, the maximum mass of the motor is reduced by 5%, the maximum mass of the driver is reduced by 9%, and the total length of the motor is shortened by up to 19%.
In addition, the power loss of the motor is reduced by up to 5%, and that of the driver is reduced by up to 12.8%.
The high efficiency and light weight of the equipment increase the battery duration.
It improves energy-saving performance and makes great contributions to SDGs.

2、Easy to use
Both the servo motor and servo driver are compatible with the company's previous products※1 in terms of installation, making replacement easy.
