1. FG (Frequency Generator) signal/speed signal output

As we often refer to square wave output, this function mainly outputs a square wave signal from the inside of the fan, and the frequency of the signal represents the rotational speed of the fan. Conventional quadrupole fan: rotational speed=FG frequency * 30. That is, by reading the FG signal, you can read the rotational speed of the fan.

2. Temperature control function

The ambient temperature of the fan operation is monitored through a thermistor, and the rotational speed of the fan is appropriately adjusted based on the temperature to achieve the purpose of energy conservation and noise reduction.

3. RD (Rate Detector) function

The RD function is also commonly referred to as an Alarm signal. RD is low when the fan is running, and high when the fan is locked. Monitor the RD signal level to determine whether the fan is in normal operation or locked state.

4. Auto Restart

When the fan is locked, the working current of the fan will be automatically cut off, and the fan will operate at a low current state, thereby protecting the fan from burning down due to high current; Another function of Auto Restart: The fan automatically outputs a signal to start the fan at regular intervals. When the fan is not in a locked state, the fan will be restarted and run normally.

5. PMW (Pulse Width Modulation) speed regulation function

The so-called PWM refers to: pulse width modulation. It means that the frequency (period) of the pulse signal is fixed, and changing the conduction period and cut-off period of the pulse signal changes the rotational speed of the fan to achieve the purpose of energy conservation and noise reduction.

6. Voltage signal speed regulation

Input a variable voltage signal to change the rotational speed of the fan to achieve energy saving and noise reduction purposes.
