According to AMCA 210-85 "laboratory methods of testing fans for rating" test specification. As shown in the sketch, the fan is placed at the wind tunnel, and the wind is blown into the wind tunnel. The air volume and static pressure are tested through each measuring point in the flow field. After the data are collected and measured by computer, the characteristic diagram and data are drawn.
Fan parallel analysis
It can be seen from the figure that the air volume of the fan in parallel increases, but the static pressure is not changed; if the system impedance is low, parallel connection can be used.
